Mammals of Denali
Published in Paperback by Alaska Natural History Assn (June, 1994)
Author: Adolph Murie

Mammals of Denali
Adolph Murie is one of the greatest naturalists of this century. Gradually, I've been collecting all of his books. Most of his books are reprints of his original government research with hazy old photos, but Mammals is modern and up to date, in a larger format with brilliant color photography. What an excellent addition to my library.

Marble Mountain Wilderness
Published in Paperback by Wilderness Press (July, 1996)
Authors: David Green and Greg Ingold
Average review score:

Awesome wilderness area, great book!!
The little traveled, little known wilderness area in far northern California comes to life in this well-written and organized guide book. It includes an extensive natural history section to make your hikes more enjoyable and informative. It also includes the most accurate, detailed map of the wilderness (throw out those outdated, dangerously inaccurate Forest Service maps)! This guide book is well worth the money if you're looking for an escape from the crowds in the better known wilderness areas.

Meeting God in Silence
Published in Paperback by Tyndale House Pub (December, 1993)

Average review score:

An indepth look at a very difficult spiritual discipline
Few Christians may admit it, but Silence & Solitude is a spiritual discipline that can really boost your relationship with God. The reason is that 21st-Century Christians are so caught up with the busyness of today that they don't know how to stop and listen for God's voice.
